Hey, Nice job

I had missed this thread I guess, but good job posting up the tunes. It can be a little unnerving subjecting yourself to critique, but I love to hear this stuff.

I would be up for a little virtual collaboration if enough of us were interested? I could host some files and even a new thread if a few of us were into something casual. It wouldn't take much to throw together some simple backing tracks if software drums aren't an issue?

shoot me a PM if you're interested,

Keep 'em coming

Thanks man. Its hard to make recordings sound good when it's all bass guitar. Wish I could find a band or something to play with on off-time. I'd settle for being in a decent cover band or something. Work makes it kinda tough and I'm not friends with anyone that really plays so it makes it tough.

I am in the same boat. i just want to play, but no one wants to play with me.

It's really frustrating because I know I am at least decent enough to be in an ok cover band, but know of no one. Plus my schedule makes it so I could only play every other weekend. Thanks for the kudos.

Even a crappy bassist should be able to find a band in two seconds. There are never enough around. Try CL.

We mostly got caught up waiting for drum parts IIRC. I've got better drum software now and there's a ton of backing tracks for covers, so we could do both covers and original stuff in different genre's.

Awesome. I'd be in when my schedule allows it.

LOL. I meant there are never enough bassists around.

Just checked the western Chicago burbs, and there are a TON of bands looking for a bassist.

Hmmm, maybe I should move to the Windy City. I love playing bass. even though we get overlooked a lot. Just finished overhauling my 30yr old vantage.

Being a bass thread I feel that I should ask, any Jeff Berlin fans out there?
A few years ago when I played more I spent a month at his school The Players School Of Music and learned so much in so little time.

Here's a clip of him shredding but the most amazing thing is seeing him improvise while playing with others.
