Someone thinks he's 1337

Ok, so there are about 4 tech related companies in this building where I work, and since I've been working here there has always been this one car, a nice Toyota Celica with a custom plate of "root".

I think vanity plates are pretty stupid anyway, but I just assumed the owner was a sysadmin and proud of his job. Well, yesterday he added 2 bumper stickers to the car: "Got root?" and "I read your email". Clearly we are dealing with a programmer who thinks he is a 1337 haX0r. I wonder, if I were to spray paint his car would that count as hacking it?

heheh... I saw a very riced out prelude a couple of weeks ago that had a license plate that said "GOT RICE". It was friggin hilarious. It was the actual plate, not the holder too!

I was seriously considering getting the license plate UNDEAD for my car. But it's like a little turquoise blue 4-door sedan. So it wouldn't match the vehicle very well.

For me the phrase UNDEAD is a double entendre (sp?). It would indicate my enjoyment of the fantasy genre in book, film, and game. And it would indicate my status as a born again Christian. It's oxymoronic/ironic/paradoxical enough to piss off the stupid fundamentalists and the stupid wiccan wannabes.

But quite frankly, as I thought about it, I decided I had better things to throw away $100 on.
