GMA950 means terrible battery life.
My netbook has 7.5h battery life with GMA500.

Mine accelerates 1080P video with the CPU at 20%. That GMA950 can't do that. Sure I had to reformat and install the drivers manually through the Device Manager, but now I'm golden. It's great.
Suspend works fine, etc etc.

maybe they have improved, but when they first came out it was horrible as intel had subcontracted the work and you got weird I/o sutters on certain screens etc because the chipset was really made for handhelds (i know that has nothign to do with video but its a drawback of gma500 based computers). there is also 0 linux suppot for that reason same with hackintoshing.

the gma 500's hd decode support is nice though
