It is 6 channels.. but it is capable of 5.1 surround? Just a quick Q, cause me no nothing of sound cards.

i have one of those cards and it works very well for very little money.
yes it does do 5.1

I have a Santa Cruz too. Been in a box in the closet since I got my A7N8X Deluxe last year. The Santa Cruz was great, but when I hooked up the digital coax out from the SoundStorm, I was shocked at the difference. And yeah, it'll do 5.1.
