I just got a new mother board the Soyo-K7VIA and a 950 athlon processor. I also got a new case to assembly the mother board to. I connected everything to the mother board and started to boot the system. I'm having problems booting up with a hard drive I used in another computer. Can I boot with a hard drive that was used in a previous computer? The computer when booting up is always looking for drives for everything. Please help me this is the first computer I've built. I'm thinking that I must reformat by hard drive and load windows 98 again and start with a fresh hard drive. Is this correct or can you start with a hard drive from a different computer.
Thanks,
