The BSG mod for it also looks really nice but it's not out yet although a demo is available.

Both games are totally free after the source code release.

dunno, I didn't like it at all, to each his own. I found myself totally uninterested in the series after 5-6 or six episodes or so, there are better shows are out now IMO.

Itano Ichiro ditched macross for Blassreiter and I am starting to think there is a good reason for it Blassreiter FTW

i conquer, yet neither are movies or tv shows. however it is imperative that you have the SCP otherwise you will have the experience of turkish star wars.

and in SW ROS you need surround sound for the beginning space battle, i would also recommend EAX.

Freespace 1/2 is frigging epic.

I think Stargate has great ones. The Ancient weapon sequence was memorable. The first time an Asgard ship shows up too (not really a "space battle", but still)
First Contact was very memorable.
Macross Frontier has awesome battle scenes. Anime yes but with 3D, very pretty.

are you talking about the episode with oneal in the chair. that had to be one of the stupidest things in that show.

That's because only umans watch movies/tv shows, not complex AI system. If you were uman, you would know these shows and how much emotion is drawn from watching them.
