Spam how to stop it??

I seem to get an email everyday from some offshore drug website. I don't need viagra or levitra etc. etc. They email me with a different name email website everyday. Is there a way to stop this?? A piece of software like the telezapper?? Thank you in advance for your help.

Best thing is to get in touch with who provides your e-mail services, most providers now have spam controls that can filter out most of the unwanted e-mail. If your providers offers a webmail interface, there usually are spam filtering settings in a setup or configuration webpage.

The sender changes everytime. But there are some letters at the end that are the same everytime. Could they use this signature to filter it??

Do you use Outlook, Outlook Express, or a web based email account?
Both Outlooks have got filters where you can send an email with content containing XXFERWARWARFASF, or whatever, to the trash.
Most web based accounts have a similar system.

I found out the IP it seems the person I am getting this spam from is known on www.arin.net/whois so I should be able to get charter to block it. I am always careful with my email address so this doesn't happen. I guess in the several years I have had it this is the only time spam has ever happened so I am doing ok with it.
