Crap, one other post. I find it a bit rude when I hear "Para español marque el número uno."

I'd prefer something like: Para servicio al cliente en español marque el número uno por favor.

Or:

Si desea servicio al cliente en español... por favor marque el número dos

Spanish can be big on formality and pleasantry. Hispanics in the US will probably give you a pass as they understand what you are up to (translating from English to Spanish), but I feel it is really rude if you have International customers. Some people may disagree with me, but that's the feeling I have.

My company's IVR says "Para Espanol, Marque Ocho"

yes... i just called it to verify

I hear some IVRs say "Para Espanol, oprima dos" or whatever number is designated. Is oprima not as well suited as "marque" or "presione"?

Basically...

Para español marque el número uno = For Spanish dial the number one.

Si desea servicio al cliente en español... por favor marque el número dos = If you desire customer service in Spanish, please dial the number 2.

Desea could be replaced with quisiera. It sounds weird to say "if you desire" but it is just really polite speech, and doesn't sound so out of place in Spanish. If would be more like... if you would like customer service (and quisiera would work better there).

It is obvious that number 2 is more polite than number 1.

To speak Spanish, you just have to add the letter O to the end of each word:

"Presso oneo for Spanisho".

Exactly. Nothing wrong with it, and I doubt anyone would complain, but if people are calling with customer service... give it to them from the start. Politeness goes a long way.
