All die sizes are within 5mm^2. The poster here has been right on some things in the past afaik, and to his credit was the first to saying 505mm^2 for Navi21, which other people have backed up. Even still though, take the following with a pich of salt.

Don't want to name names but there was at least one person here implying that big navi should easily match 3080 and maybe even 3090?

Those people might want to reassess the confidence with which they make predictions, unless it turns out AMD is being coy and those numbers aren't from the top end card.

BL3 was a weak title for Navi though, and it looks like this new card doubles the 5700 XT's performance in it.

Wait for actual reviews. You can find review numbers for BL3 from 58 fps all the way up to 70+ fps. Until you get the card in a controlled comparison to make sure all else is equal, we can only say it's approximate performance with very large margins.

We will need to see the GPUs without the variables. According to eurogamer borderlands 3 is a tie but 3080 clearly wins at Gears. No idea on MW since I don't recall it having a benchmark so results of AMD and reviews won't be directly comparable. Overall kinda disappointing if you cherry pick a game and you still lose.

Obviously we can't make a final conclusion yet. I'd imagine it's pre-launch drivers that aren't even fully optimized yet....Seeing how they haven't even been officially announced let alone launched.

When AMD compared the 5700XT to the 2070 the average uplift they showed was bang on what computerbase got with a lot of the same games.

Maybe its not from the top end card but second to top end. I don't think showing off top end card now would leave much excitement for the Oct 28 event.

Honestly unlikely to go bargain priced. GPU demand appears to be such that it'll sell out at any halfway sane price point.

I was hoping for a better showing from the TOTL RX 6000. It's not terrible (In the middle between the 2080ti and 3080), but definitely not as good as I had hoped. Hopefully this is not the TOTL card, but I don't have my hopes up.

Do you honestly think AMD would showcase their fastest, top of the line card in a teaser 3 weeks before the reveal? No, this was the 6800XT. I would almost put money on it.

AMD showing titles they lose in is not something out of the norm.

Using TPU numbers for BL3 and Gears 5 this 6000 series part is about 2x the performance of the 5700XT.

In both cases the 5700XT barely beats the 2060 Super so neither game is especially Radeon friendly.
