ok...i'm having some trouble wif my overclocking...
i got a AMD T-bird 800 @ 900
rite now it is 100 X 9...cos when i try to change the fsb...it jes goes haywire (dunno why...even though i got 1st party ram)
anyways....thats not my point....my main point is...sumtimes when i come back from school and boot up my comp...during the POST it states the current speed its running at....it says 500Mhz....WTF???
i go back into bios and the cpu ratio is at 9....ok..fine
save and exit...boot up...POST...500Mhz...HAR???
i have to go and reset the ratio to 'default' then reboot...then reset the ratio to 9 again....only after doing that will the comp say its running at 900Mhz...
i tot that maybe boosting the power to the cpu would help..so i bump it up....
all fine for a few days...come back from school today and it says its running at 500 again...
its annoying...know how to get rid of this problem???
