I've gone ~165-175 (car had no speedometer, going from tach.) on private road (racetrack)
I've gone 100 in a 65 on deserted highway
I've gone 80 in a 65 on a crowded highway
& Most over goes to 95 in a 15 (2 mile straightaway on deserted back road (paved), why it was a 15 beats me, but that was the posted limit).

Never been pulled over other than that 1 felony stop for armed robbery (took about 10 minutes to prove it wasn't me, they QUICKLY let me go ).

on I-5, on a weekend afternoon, in perfect weather, with no one visible on the road as far as I could see in either direction. Had I gone off the road, I would have hit a cow pasture on either side. >>



Hehe. I did 125 in 70 on I5 north. 55 over. But that was cus some other Maxima wanted to race. Oh well. It started raining, so I had to slow down and lost

I rode along with a friend of mine in his boss's wife's 911 Carrera. We got up to around 140 in a 35. It wasn't smart , but it sure was fun. The fastest I've driven was over 120 in my Ddge Spirit. I used to drive 100+ everywhere I went until I got pulled over flying past a Deputy.

Me: Speedo showed 120-ish on my 92 civic. I suspect some innacuracies at this level, but it was still a pretty good clip on 88 in the burbs of chicago.
Friend driving: 160-ish in the back seat of a blown and chip-modded z28. Felt like the goddamm thing was gonna fall apart!:Q

truck driver 18 wheeler usually speed more then most ppl so I guess you either pass them or stay way behind. they can be so annoying and block you from making an exit as well. also they either go really really slow or really really fast. Must be fun for them

124 MPH on Airport Way in Seattle (it's a fully level road parallel to the airport).. apparently it was my car's top speed (Saab 900) and it scared the crap out of me but I wanted to see it's limit.. woot! The car was shaking apart LOL and when it hit the car's limits the speedo bounced back and forth.. very intriguing and dangerous (cops and deathwise) experience and I'll never do it again unless I'm at SIR or something..

That car seems to have held up pretty well for a roll-over. The body is pretty well trashed, but it's mostly just dents & scratches. How fast were you going?

The top of the seat is what was holding the roof up.. Any one in the back seat would have been killed. I thank god I was alone as I had just dropped off my girl friend..

When I was younger and stupider (about 3 years ago), I was up to 115 once. Not that it makes it better, but I was on a long, straight, flat road with no-one else in sight. Now I limit it to about 75 on the turnpike. 80 in Michigan.
