Yea, on the ah, torchlight 2 website, one of the guy was quoted for 1 month AFTER the diablo 3 release, which was may 15th, so chances are torchlight 2 will be here in 5 days.

Just get a GTX 670, then use part of the $100 difference to pre-order TL2, it's only $20.

The beta ended a week or two ago, but I assume that if Runic Games were going to release the game that soon, they would have said something already or at least at E3 (they were there).

I wonder if they're going to pull away from the same 15-point per talent in a talent tree system or is it just adjusting what some of the talents do? There were quite a few "?" talents in the beta, which need to be added.

I read a story on IGN about the changes last night. Unfortunately I can't link it from work, but from what I recall, they are redoing a number of talents and adding additional bonus as you put more points into a certain talent.

Right, TL2 is on my definitely going to buy list, but since it is already a year late, I'm not going to buy until it has been out at least a week. But, I'm in the crowed that does not really see the point in pre-ordering a digital game.

You do get TL1 to play now if you pre-order from Steam and you don't already own that one. (You can also gift the TL1 if you already have it in your Steam library)
