What ares ome good sports games for the pc?

Honestly..
The only sports games worth playing on the PC are golf games, such as Tiger Woods, etc..
Leave the other sports games for the consoles..
I find football, basketball and baseball games play much better on consoles..
Thats just my opinion though..

I play madden 06 a lot but I don't know how it compares with console games. If you use a game pad, I'm sure it will be something very similar. I play just fine with my keyboard though.

yeah i have a logitech dual action game pad for my pc. so yeah it pretty much the same setup as the ps2 controller. It just doesnt have any forcefeed back, but oh well.

not really. i think with a good graphics card it looks better than the console version (regular xbox, ps2), but the 360 looks better yet - just going on screenshots i've seen.

LIVE 06 sucks, Tiger 05/06 are the same game, Madden is fantastic. FIFA is decent but that other soccer game... I forget its name seems to be much better (not a huge soccer fan) NHL 06 is pretty decent too. Baseball? Ummm...
Football Manager 2006 is great for a sim-type game.

yeah the pc version of madden is using pratically a 4 year old engine, hopefully they use the newer one next year

MVP Baseball 2005 is the best baseball game on the pc (though I'm sure some die hard High Heat fans will disagree). Plus there are some nice mods available for MVP 2005.

Too bad EA can't make anymore baseball games so I guess the pc sports scene will have no new baseball game in 2006. I doubt 2K Games will bother to port their future World Series Baseball title to the pc.
