it's good to know that their #1 selling phone is the EVO. Makes me feel better about getting rid of mine with minimal damage!

CITA didn't make a splash about it either... so maybe I should just jump on the bandwagon just so i can have a WP7 phone!

Wow, only $450 without contract? That's actually a damn good deal. How do you like it?

That's pretty much the same keyboard as the TP2 besides the "Backspace/DEL" key being next to "0" and the "enter" key being tall & skinny.

And another 16gb wm7 phone with no micro sdhc slot....

Personally I won't even come close to filling the memory on my Arrive. 16GB is more than plenty

And just for the record, so far I really dig my Arrive. Sure, after I bought it they talk about the release of the Evo 3D but to be honest the only things I really like about Android is the marketplace and the ability to customize the phone how I see fit. Can't do that on my arrive but one thing I haven't had to worry about thus far is cycling my phone off and on. Seems to be very solid and stable thus far.

really need to do a proper review on this device! It's the only WP7 on sprint, sadly... I really want something sleek and sweet looking, like the focus or the Dell Venue Pro!

dude, who cares if it's dual core or not. It's not like we'll see any real world performance difference on the OS! and it's already performing better than Android!

I switched from an Evo 4G to an HD7. Despite being basically the exact same hardware (1GHz first-gen Snapdragon, ~512 MB RAM, 800x480 screen), the HD7 feels like it's a generation ahead. The difference in speed and responsiveness is amazing. Even better, the HD7 has a smaller battery (1240 mAh vs 1400 mAh IIRC) yet it still lasts significantly longer than the Evo.

The computer geek in me is disappointed that the WP7 phones are "outdated" hardware. From a pragmatic standpoint, though, WP7 runs smooth as silk on those old Snapdragon processors. Unlike with the Evo, and other Android devices I've used, I never get the feeling of "if only this device were a little faster. . ." with WP7.

At any rate, the new Windows CE 7.0 has support for dual-core processors and up to 3 GB of RAM. Hopefully that means we will see some true WP superphones in the near future

I've had mine for a couple weeks now, i probably stated this before on another thread, the battery life is awesome. This past weekend I did a battery test, 11am Saturday I took off the charger and Sunday night at 9pm i got the warning that the battery is low and the phone shutdown soon. Now this is obviously YMMV, but in my area and the places where i was have good Sprint coverage, i made a few 5-10 min phone calls, 3 email accounts pulling emails, wifi+bt+gps are on, did a lot of texting and some web browsing (mainly fb). Coming from a Pre-, this and the hardware build easily sold me.

hmm.... mom just got a HD7... I don't really like hardware keyboard that are forced in landscape mode... Hence I'm partial to the Dell Venue Pro
