That is just silly On Sri Lankas part. Soldiers or not It is a humanitarian mission. Ridiculous that Sri Lanka would refuse any aid offered to them.

I don't get it. Why would you deny soldiers to help? I can understand not wanting armed soldiers into your country. Or tanks and jets. But unarmed soldiers who are probably engineers and rescue specialists?

I also don't think America would reject any nation because of their religion if we needed their help if a disaster like this happend in the U.S. If the U.S did that then it wouldn't be the best country in the world. Every nation, Every religion, everyone wants to come to the United States.

1 - A lot of aid/ help from muslim countries was rejected after 9/11.
2 - Best in what, check the numbers on that. (I am a US resident)
