well not really, you would have one peltier cooling another and have that pattern going for 100 peltiers but the one on the very top will still have to be cooled...think about it
just buy a 156w TEC
Most people have found little or no practical benefit from stacking peltiers. More benefit has been found in running them side by side, then they almost add up. Downside is you need a huge waterblock (no way you would benefit with air cooling and 170 watts of heat plus the processors). If you motherboard has the room, I have seen several waterblocks designed for dual peltiers. (Most are for slot use though).
I would recommend you stick with on 156 watt or 172 watt pelt. Stacked 85 watt pelts will not be able to handle the heat from an AMD CPU. I am assuming you are running an AMD as a 156 watt pelt is too much for an Intel CPU.
Stacking pelts increases the Delta T. Running them side by side will not increase the Delta T but this will increase the load capacity of the system. Note that cooling two large pelts is a massive undertaking.
