The cheaper desks at Staples are all made with particle board, but they're still good desks. I got a nice, big, L-shaped desk with a keyboard tray for about $35 or $40 last year. When I moved out, I just left the desk outside and someone took it within two hours.

Your post really makes me want an L-shaped desk. It would work perfectly in my room. Where did you get one for $40?
