Well trump was somehow actually president while this game is still just as far from production as ever.Trump campaign or Star Citizen: Which is the biggest grift sustained by the most wounded cult?
Look on the bright side. When the game does release, everyone will be able to run it on their iGPUs with Ultra settings at 8K resolution. Good long term strategy

One thing I've learned about this games is that those that are into it, are really really into it. I doubt they'll be concerned about anything at this point. If anything they'll spend a lot of time and money saying Starfield is nice and all, but it's no SC.I don't know the extent of the gameplay loop promised by Starfield, but it's gotta be a threat to this project. If Bethesda's game can people 80% of the way there...I dunno. Maybe it could have the opposite effect, and make people "hungrier" for this type of content with a deeper game?
Yeah, especially if they trained their AI on Star Citizen gameplay videos to generate some snazzy art and 3D models. It would be kinda funny if some studio managed to replicate most of Star Citizen on 1/100th the budget (or less).
To my limited understanding monthly subscribers get priority seat, then people who actually play the game, then everyone else. Basically a closed beta for the beta. I don’t get why people are so upset about this.So now you have to pay a subscription fee just to play the game?
edit: it's hard to tell from the video since they're so upset about it, but it looks like the non-subscribers have to wait for "wave three" whatever that is.
I don’t get the whole Starfield will kill SC thing. They are different but similar games. One is single player which to me is a deal breaker. Sure both games are shooty space games but there certainly is room for more than one game in the genre. One thing I've learned about this games is that those that are into it, are really really into it. Who knows maybe a founders edition space suit.So when will there be a commemorative decade beta edition?
How can it be a threat to a game that will never be released?I don’t get the whole Starfield will kill SC thing. They are different but similar games. ExactlyHow can it be a threat to a game that will never be released?
It's like saying invasive pythons are a threat to the Chupacabra.Exactly
Nah gamer drama is just so over the top. Using the same logic we should say “No reason to make any other single player D&D inspired game BG3 does everything”It's like saying invasive pythons are a threat to the Chupacabra.
Well in this case 95% of the product is drama.Nah gamer drama is just so over the top. Using the same logic we should say “No reason to make any other single player D&D inspired game BG3 does everything”
The weird expectation that you’ll buy one game and that will be the last of the genre you’ll ever need is setting yourself up for disappointment
