I think they made the B Wing massively overpowered. A snub fighter that can one shot an Imperial capital ship? Why even bother with X-Wings (or calamari capital ships for that matter)? Should just make tons and tons of B Wings and lay waste to fleets of Star Destroyers.
They were interesting for sure. I just thought that they didn't make a lot of sense. It was essentially an origin story for the force - well, IIRC that is. And I didn't see the point of that. The force is something that just exists, like the Higgs field or the color force. There's no need to try to explain it. And if you are going to come up with some sort of story for it, I thought they could have done a lot better. I guess what really bothered me was the personification of the different sides. It felt too much like classical mythology.
The animation seems very cut rate. The imperial officers look as identical to each other as stormtroopers do. :\

The budget and airing decisions are weird. They definitely went with a more limited budget than The Clone Wars, as evidenced by the very limited selection in character models and voice actors. TCW was very expensive and I suspect the fact that it was syndicated had a lot to do with making ends meet.I read this show has almost no budget (which is why it's on a secondary Disney channel). I'm surprised they would stick it on xD, but that's what they did. Maybe to raise the ratings?
New episodes in January. You'd think they'd want new content all this month and explode the ratings, but I guess not.

Exactly. They were born at most a week apart, as Ezra was born on Empire Day, and Leia right after that. So she's actually a smidge younger than Ezra. Well the ships weren't supposed to be going anywhere, so the pilots were at the local cantina I imagine. Why stay with a ship that has been locked down with the Interstellar Boot?This might be a stupid question but was there no crew in any of the cruisers besides Leia? No droids or pilots or anything?
I thought there were pilots when they landed but when they left the ships were empty, where did everyone go?

those legs easily withstood hits from snowspeeders in empire strikes back.
makes it seem like light sabers can cut thru anything like it was paper.. super overpowered
