Hey all,
I have a windows 2000 workstation with latest hotfixes, norton definition file, and latest adaware scan. Nothing found by those and yet when you click on the start button the menu comes up. (the programs, documents, settings, etc) but I can not click on any of the icons.
Clicking on programs or settings or any item in the start menu does nothing. I can right click, choose open and start my programs that way but not thru the menu.
Also went into task manager, killed the explorer process and restarted a new one but the behavior remains. Powering off the computer seems to fix it but only temporary as the problem returns eventually.
Nothing else seems wrong with the system besides this.
Really weird.
Any help is much appreciated.
