Well, my battle with weight gain has been losing lately, so I thought I'd change it up and try low carb. I've dabbled with it before years ago, but never too seriously. I'm currently 217lbs and would like to get to 180-190 or so. Want to get my BMI under 25 so I'm not "overweight" heh.
Anyways, had a family brunch today (over 120 members of my extended family!) and had prime rib, an omelete, and several pieces of bacon for brunch. I skipped the cake, french toast, and all the carb stuff. That combined with about 8 cups of coffee, unsolicited bloody mary that my dad bought me, 2 red bulls, and a diet AMP energy drink (I drink a lot of energy drinks), and I'm feeling a little queezy right now, not too bad, just a little bit, and for some reason, very tired and relaxed.
Anyone here on low carb, how hard is it the first couple days, I'm only on day 1, but it doesn't seem hard at all right now.
If you are on low carb, what are your experiences being on that and drinking alcohol? I have about 12 drinks a week, enjoy that and want to keep doing it, but could cut back if it messes up the diet.
