HOLY FUCK! A thread about a comedian somehow drifted to Obama by the tenth post. I think that's a record!
If you saw his other posts, it's obvious he has quite a few screws loose.

I wasn't whining, and he didn't screw up. Instead of worrying about a comedian's routine, maybe people should be worrying about a lying beautiful being in the president's office. His words actually affect people's lives, and actually matter 2 seconds after he says them.
Exactly. It wasn't a joke, it was just making fun of black people.

It's called perspective dumbass. You, and the other babies worried about shit that doesn't matter needs to get some...
Americans are really sensitive.
That could be it. I told the joke to my dad and he laughed. We're black, but don't live in the US.It isn't that we are sensitive so much as it is some people will jump at every opportunity to aggrandize themselves by jumping on anything perceived as politically incorrect.
Blacks in the US in general are too sensitive though, they have quite a few people telling them that they are victims, and as such they look for such victimization everywhere.
And Italians. Funny you only read it how you wanted to.

Don't really get the African-American part unless he's just going for uneducated... Funny not found there.

You know what's strange? Just a few years ago there was a push for ebonics to become part of the education curriculum and now that someone publicly recognizes that African Americans spell and speak differently they are accuses of racism.
The biggest problem I see is the lack of consistency by the community.
It's a cultural reference to how "la" ends up at the beginning of a lot of feminine names, not a racial one.
That I can see being fired over.I think what happened to the PR Director is somewhat similar to the mob mentality over Martin's comments:
"Justine Sacco became the newest racism scapegoat. She was a means by which people could prove theyre not racist. The more they mocked or hated her, the more they were proving to their fellow mob members that they werent racist."
