The other loose end is if someone else pressed the gun to her head to make it look like a homicide/suicide when it was a double homicide.

Ya here it is, four days after the fact , and McNair is still dead. And new facts trickle in one by one. By in large I have a personal rule about these kinds of incidents, let the cops do their job and it will be much clearer in the end. Why get all worked up before the facts are in?

Murder/suicide

Girl was despondent due to roomate leaving ($$ issues), the DUI incident and the fact the McNair was "cheating" on her with another girl.
