There is a great idea for a website..wow. Just make it all about people's funny stories involving stolen bandwith. Either for images on ebay or other auctions or about using open wireless networks.

Maybe it's because I don't actually own Internet real estate, and of course I don't know how many sales this guy has made. But unless it affects my pocketbook or the guy does it a LOT, I would simply write the guy a letter saying I'm happy to supply bandwidth, but I'd like him to contact me if he does it again. But, of course, I live in Southern Arkansas, where "kill em with kindness" is almost a state motto. Definitely wouldn't've screwed the guy that way, though, that's just wrong.

I concur, fully and wholeheartedly. If I was actually able to follow through on my committments(sp?) I'd create the site in a heartbeat.

What we need is someone who's already started another site to take up this project.

Look at it this way: It's like a friend bumming a ride off of you and never even OFFFERING to pay for gas. Gas is not cheap. I certainly don't think it's fair that, just because I own a car, I should have to pay to take other people places. Except this is a little different, because it's more like a friend just took his car out for a drive without asking him, using up his gas and not even having the decency to say he did. He deserved this.
