There were undercover cops working at the strip club. This looks and feels like an arrest just to please Trump and attack Stormy Daniels. Does this not concern any one? I was surprised not to see a thread on this. Or maybe I missed it but I don't think so.

My husband initially said to me, yeah this falls under the category of things I just don't care about but changed his mind when I pointed out whether Trump is involved or not (I actually don't believe so though I don't think he's above it) there is a mind-set out there that doing things that are questionable even illegal, cruel and hateful to get Trump's back (in the name of the cult) will be acceptable and at least forgiven by Trump as long as he feels adequately stroked.

Law is for people appearing regularly. Since she doesn't appear regularly the judge dismissed the charges

Charges against adult film actress Stormy Daniels for allegedly touching three undercover detectives while performing at an Ohio strip club were dismissed Thursday, her attorney said.

Daniels, who gained notoriety after suing President Donald Trump following an alleged affair, had faced three misdemeanor counts of illegally touching a patron, court records show.
Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, posted a $6,054 bail and was released Thursday morning, and was due to be arraigned Friday, records show.
Under an Ohio law passed in 2007, an employee who regularly appears nude or seminude at a sexually oriented business is prohibited from touching patrons, except for family members.
Because Daniels does not regularly appear at the club, the charges were dismissed, according to court documents.
"I've determined that these crimes were not committed, based on the fact that Ms. Clifford has not made regular appearances at this establishment as required under the law," Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein said in a statement after reviewing the case.
Daniels had planned to plead not guilty to the three misdemeanor charges, her attorney, Michael Avenatti, tweeted.
The arrest of Daniels and two others was part of a "long-term investigation into allegations of human trafficking, prostitution, & other vice related violations," Columbus police said in a statement.

Basically, she was touching people and if you are a regular performer you cant. Because she is not a regular performer at the location charges were dropped.

Sounds like it’s similar to the law in MA, basically strippers are not to touch people while on stage/performing. Also sounds similar in that it’s seldomly enforced.
Seems like the law left wiggle room for performers who may not be aware of the law.
I think Stormy was the second person ever arrested for breaking the law.
These are old morality type laws, nobody wants them to go to court because either the State could lose then its open season on handjobs or the state could win and have to consistently enforce this stuff.

I can see law enforcement just choosing to arrest her on their own behalf at not really at the call of Trump. Although I think they would be doing it because of Trump.

Lots of LEO appreciate Trump in that it is allowing them to get illegal repeat felons deported without trial and help clean up the streets. Trump has been great for law enforcement officers around the country so I can see them calling an audible and trying to fuck with Stormy.
