Hi there,
I've noticed in 3 different 2ms TN panel monitors a strange kind of artifacting.
Basically it seems similar to when AVI video's lose data and don't update bits of the screen. Mind you, its not nearly that bad or noticeable. I've notice it happen alot when pixels go from white/bright to some other colour close to it, like bright blue, yellow, etc. In particular I've seen it happen in Quake 4, at the point where you take a pod down somewhere and the air is rushing past, you can see pixels not updating and blocking, turning purple and such ( a very light purple). I've also seen this occur in CSS in Dust, if you look at the sun (either HDR enabled or disabled), and shift around somewhat quickly, you can see it do it there too. It does this on my new LG 20.1" L206WTQ, does it on my old Viewsonic VX922 (although not as badly), and it did it on some Samsung 19" 2ms panel i bought before the VX922, and had it returned because it was so bad.
I haven't been able to find anything on this, and no one seems to know what I'm talking about. I'm currently uploading a 65MB Avi to show people. Thing is, I think it also occurs in video, which is why I think its a monitor issue and not a driver issue (I think I saw it while watching some movie files). Hopefully you guys can help me, I'll post a link to the video in a bit, taking a while to upload. Thanks
