I've got an old logitech keyboard which is a basic windows keyboard with 3 extra buttons for internet, email and search (looks like this one, extra buttons are above the arrow keys).
I've never had to install the provided software for these buttons to do as you'd expect (open default browser, open default mail program, open windows search window)
Ever since I've used some spare parts to make a pc to do work on, with this keyboard, this behaviour is not replicated.
Email and search work fine, but the internet button does 2 things:
1st time I press it, a normal file browsing window opens at the location "C: \Program" (space to escape the :\ )
When I press it again with the 1st result still open, it opens IExplorer (not my default browser)
I want to know if there's a way, without installing the logitech software, of fixing this.
Thanks for your time
PS, the pc is running bang up to date XP pro.
