strange oc on msi 865pe

I have an msi 865pe neo2-P with a p4 2.8 that im trying to oc a bit.
i have corsair pc4000 mem so that shouldnt cause any problems.
The problem is i cant get the fsb over 210 without turning off pat (or mat as msi calls it) and if i turn off pat the oc is useless cause that really takes away performance.
Without pat i can reach 230 easy but i dont get any better scores than i do at 210 with pat on
It doesnt help if i raise the mem voltage or keep the timings really loose.
It wont boot and the bios is telling me to loosen up my timings.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? help please

i got the same mobo and a p42.6c running on 1.6v 3300Mhz Fsb is 255Mhz memory on 204Mhz DDr cas 2.5-3-3-6 on 2.70 volts Memory Ratio Is 5:4

Now where is that setting man never seen it before in bios ?

I got the same board too. It's the second option in Frequency/Voltages (I believe its what it's called) and you can change from Slow, Normal, Turbo, Ultra Turbo (MAT).

I hear ya Aleksandar but i dont wanna run the mem asynchronous to the fsb cause it dont get me any good results.
If i run the fsb in 230 and the mem at 5/4 ittl only go in 184 mhz and that kinda sux when i have ddr 500 memory.

And btw, the options in bios is normal, fast, turbo and ultra turbo and according to cpu-z the setting fast and upwards enables mat.

i will try to turn it on later on and see if same thing happens to me.

Edit. ok i turnd it on in bios set it to ultra-Turbo but i dont see any better preformance i did a cuple of benchmarks same results.

Increase your voltages and use better cooling for mem and cpu. I have the same board.
