I'm wondering if anyone has some best practice info on creating streaming videos.
I'm at work and trying to create an elearning course (that has flash video). However, we're finding that the video stutters. We've reduced the specs to no avail.
Here's how we're coding right now:
- video resolution max' 640 x 360 pixels
- 12 frames per second
- sorenson spark codec for any flash videos (FLV)
- max data rate of 700 kbs for any video type stream
- audio of 96kbs (stereo)
Does anyone have some info on what best practice recommends for high-bandwidth streams and low-bandwidth streams?
Any help is appreciated. (I'm told it's not the bandwidth pipe server side that's the problem neither)
