Other random info I've gathered:

-From the SRK thread I linked above, it also appears that 360 won't be able to play against PC.

-PS3 install is 2.2 GB (and is optional I think).

-Online play seems to be very good (lag-wise), despite the current 1on1 only issue.

yea online mode is virtually lag free. when playing one round i have 4/5 bars and had like no lag, other one i had 2/5 bars and still had like no lag.

one thing i DID notice in the online mode, is that at the top of the rooms it says "1 on 1 lobby" and I found it kind of strange it would explictly say "1 on 1" if it was the only kind of lobby.

Ya Capcom said they have a day 1 free dlc called championship edition. It will have replay save stuff, and ability to set up tournaments. I don't know if it adds a lobby but that is speculation. I think the other stuff was confirmed by Seth.



No TE stick yet. Gamestop screwed me I think. Gonna wait till release and if they don't have it I'll get a refund and buy a HRAP EX and some sonwa buttons from Lizard Lick.

Why? You just have to complete the game as certain characters. If you enjoy the game then you'll enjoy unlocking characters. If you don't enjoy playing through the game unlocking the characters, then you just don't enjoy the game as much as others I guess.

well it's annoying you have to complete the game with every character in order to get Seth. it's just tedious.

playing through as everybody has nothing to do with "how much you enjoy the game" it's just annoying.

I'm so tired of dealing with the TE bullshit. I preordered from Gamestop B&M in November.

Last week Gamestop Online orders shipped for some reason. Some people who didn't order until early Jan got them already.

Got a call as many others did on Tuesday morning saying that my stick would be ready for pickup Tuesday night. Lo and behold Tuesday night no one knows anything about the sticks at the local GS. They haven't even shipped to the store.

As of 8pm Thurs night they still have no clue why we got the automated call and haven't been shipped the TE.

I'm about to give up and order the HRAP EX and add Sanwa buttons.

I agree about that unlocking, I don't have that much time to spend on Unlocking Seth - Gouken for example, but I'd love to have them as choices for some quick vs matches.

Anyone know if we can find any saves / cheats to unlock everything (have unlocked 5 chars so far) ? I'm a 360 newbie... lol

I don't mind doing the unlocking, but I see how others would.

If the characters were at least "special," I could understand, but we're talking about having to unlock Rose and Sakura.

well i didn't watch the video, but i unlocked them by doing jump kick/punch, sweep, over and over and over, and was on easiest. i just wanted to unlock everyone as quickly as i could, granted, the only one that is REALLY tedious is seth, because you have to beat it with EVERYONE.

it is just very tedious and boring.

yea the easiest difficulty is so dumb.

one time for one of the guys i had beaten it with but didnt unlock their intro movie, i started with him and just let my controller sit there while i went to get a drink so that i would die and quit and it would unlock the intro video.

well while i was getting a drink i didn't hear anyone getting beat up on sf4 and was like wtf?

so i walk over and after like 50 seconds the AI was just there standing, moving back and forth every now and then, and had hit mem like 2 times. so i had to hold forward to make my guy walk into the enemy for him to actually attack me.

Am I missing something, or did the game release a little early in some places? I didn't think it was out till tuesday, but I haven't been paying as much attention to it as I should *shrugs*

It's out in Japan. So imports, promos, insider ops, and 7-11.
