I think you just tap mp + mk right after you do the srk.
I'm still having trouble timing the dash. Anybody have any advice?

guys if you are just trying to beat it to unlock everyone, put it on easiest, 1 round.
you can do jump kick/sweep pretty much for EVERY person. i would get a perfect like 6/8 rounds, seth included.
also if you have trouble w/people, you can get to seth w/your good characters, then switch to the other people at him, then beat it with them. that counts as "beating the game" with the character.

what I have noticed that has made it the FADC (focus attack dash cancel) easier is to try to do them at the same time...
what i mean is, the FADC consists of 2 parts - the focus attack then the dash to cancel out of it, and that is what is key because it will leave you free to chain yet another move and juggle your opponent.
so you have to do a focus attack and then a dash. that would be MK + MP, F, F. this has to be done really fast if you want to be able to pull off a juggle move, and a split second can make the difference here between landing an ultra or not.
so what i've been doing (but haven't done this much, still hasn't gotten too much into advanced tactics yet) is press MK + MP + F, F. so eseentially, you are starting the dash command AS you do the focus attack.
if basically cuts back the command by 1/3 of the commands, which in SF4, can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
the person i practiced FDAC with was Ken. do a Jump HK, LP Dragon Punch, FDAC. if you pull it off correctly you can juggle them into his super move (and his ultra as well I think).

I didn't have much of an issue beating Seth with C. Viper.. was a bitch with Ryu. I'm just trying to get all the characters right now.. easiest/1match and Seth is still a pain in the ass a majority of the time.

Quick question for you guys that I'm too scared to ask in the Shoryuken forums ......when doing special moves for each player (i.e. shoruken, fireball, hurricane kick, etc) and using a low jab/kick for example, does this lesson the amount of damage done? When doing a hurricane kick, I know that using LK shortens the distance and vulnerability, MK goes a little further, and HK goes the distance, but is the damage the same or lessened?
