I have a Klipsch PM 2.1 setup and the sub is under my desk. The side of the sub with the grill faces me while the 'hole' faces my left.
When sitting properly in front of my desk, I can hear bass but my satellites overpower my sub. If I move back about 5-6 feet I can hear bass much much better. Why is this and is there anything I can do to make it sound better when I'm sitting at my desk?
If you need a pic, I'll have it up in a day or two.
Edit: I should clarify--the bass doesn't necessarily sound louder at the faraway position, it sounds deeper and fuller...just better quality. This is what I mean by 'much much better' (not louder). I probably could've worded that better in the original post.
