I had a pair of Koss a couple of years ago. They were really affordable, and had the big ear muffs you looking for. They did however have a mic. They lasted for around 2 years, then my then 3 year old got a hold of them. I was more than satisfied with them. I'm sure they don't hold up in comparison to the Bose and some of the other highend headphones in teh sound qaulity department, but they also didn't cost 100+ dollars. FOr teh price I feel the Koss headphone (not their low end 15 dollar trash) just can't be beat.
