Tonight i attempted to do a vdroop mod on my abit IP35-E and now I cant get it to boot. Everything turns on and acts like its working but there is no signal to my moniter. A quick test of my graphics card in another computer and it worked fine, just not in the abit IP35-E. Not wanting to do to much more testing on it, I wouldn't mind just upgrading it.
Im looking for a socket 775 motherboard, that has sli support, and is known for overclocking quads well. I've been stuck at 3.7ghz with my Q6600 for a long time and wouldn't mind hitting 4ghz. My gpu and cpu are water cooled and max temps are low, but limitations in my old motherboard were killing me. Any / all suggestions will be appreciated, and yes i realize i7 core is out but i dont need it im purely a gamer and dont want to spend the money on memory / motherboard / cpu right now. Thanks in advance =).
For reference:
Q6600 @ 3.7ghz
Dead abit IP35-E
EVGA GTX280 FTW
Gskill 2x2GB
Antec 900
HX620
MCP355>120.3XSPC>HK 3.0>swiftech MCW60
