Suggestions on multi-OS system

I am working on building a multi OS PC and would like some input on the best partitioning and installation on the system. My primary OS, for now, will be Win 98SE although I also want to install 2000 with service pack 1. I also want to install a linux variant and would appreciate any suggestions on installing this system.

I have started a thread in the mothrboards section regarding video/sound for use with an Abit KT7A system. Any suggestions there would be appreciated too.

I plan on using Boot Magic 5.0 as a loader for the system.

As to my selection of OS's:
1] 98SE, - 'cause it is what I use primarily now
2] 2000 SP1 - 'cause I got it and would like to play around with it
3] Linux - 'cause I want to play with it and grew up with command line OS's and 300 baud acoustic couplers. I think it would be a nice departure from MS.

Anyway, any suggestions on a Linux version and the best partitioning/installation of such a system will be appreciated.

I guess you already know about partition magic? If not, you can select what ever drive you want to be boot-able with a click. Only allows one drive at a time to be bootable (makes sence dosen't it).

The other guys hit the normal stuff...
Here are some off the wall thoughts I had.

1. buy three drives, if you dont have three already.
a. buy three of those ide drive caddys, mount the drives in them and just swap in the one you want to boot. I saw these somewhere for cheap, <$10.
b. use the bios to disable the two drives you arent using at the time. Most newer MB's will let you boot off any drive that has an active partition, they dont care of it's primary, slave or second channel.

The disadvantges to this whacked out scheme is that you need 3 drives and you cant access the two that you arent using.
