Why would I work in a cafeteria...? I can't cook... Oh I get it. Cafeteria food is shit because people can't cook? Thus I fit the bill?
OR MAYBE YOU THINK I AM A MASTER CHEF?
LMAO..

I won't be learning a new language because that would make me shitty at too many languages. I rather get proficient in at least one.
The problem is figuring out what I am going to do and HOW I will learn how to do it. A lot of the stuff is not a simple look at the API and call it good. It usually involves things that are beyond my knowledge of programming with the language.
Like I said, any computer labs are for instructors.
Regardless, we never need computer labs for any CS classes here... There are no labs when enrolled in a CS class.
O RLY.

damn. I wonder what the hell that is then...
You should definitely stop hating on the international students too. They pay a crap load more than you do.
let the others decide if you don't fit.

So unfair.
Also, wouldn't that probably be for work study students? Those types of jobs?
Kind of sad and pathetic that you didn't apply for financial assistance and work study. Work study would have opened up to you numerous opportunities for easy/cushy jobs, one that you might have been willing to take on as your first job ever.
I had a couple work study jobs in college like over the summer and they were cake. It wasn't great money but who cares it was something. My parents paid for quite a bit of my college but I could still get loans and work study (through FAFSA) with a fairly high EFC so I don't think that's much of an excuse.Kind of sad and pathetic that you didn't apply for financial assistance and work study. Well... My internship is still in the air. (They're realllllly slow about this) So, I am still just kinda browsing the job market at this point. Monday will be a day to start looking.
Fairly high? Last time I did FAFSA my parents made sub $60k a year combined yet it estimated they should be able to contribute something like $36000 a year...
I'll try again next year, but it's pretty much pointless.
wait, you did not start looking besides that first one? It's getting a little late now....most internships that hire now want people that go to a school that has a 6 month internship program, not the normal 3 month summer program.
sounds like you failed at doing the fafsa.

He doesnt need an internship because he's gonna get a 60k job out of college. Guaranteed.
Nope... I did it all correctly. Maybe that's where I screwed up... I told the truth.
I just need something to pay the bills now. I don't want loans, yo.
:hmm:
EDIT: Actually, I may be completely misunderstanding the independent vs dependent thing, which makes a huge difference. I assumed that living alone and not taking much support from parents = may consider oneself independent, but apparently not.

Yeah, I'm not qualified for work study either... So... yeah. Man, I should have done the FAFSA. I bet I could have gotten some money.
