Superbowl XLVI Prediction/Discussion Thread

Didn't really see an official Superbowl thread yet, and perhaps http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2217640 should be the de facto in which case close this, but between the predictions, the actual game and the commercials there should be a lot of conversation on it.

My prediction, Giants 31- Patriots 28. Patriots will get up big early on and force Eli to throw his ass off to get back in the game, which he will though not with something as fashionable as a Tyree pass. When the dust settles the QBs will be #2 and #3 in SB passing yard performances. Jason Pierre-Paul will seal the game with a patted down pass at the line on 4th and short. Of course now that I said all that it will be the EXACT opposite so put your money on the Pats lol.

Oh and the commercials better be good this year, and previous 3-4 years have BLOWN.

The Giants are the better team, but that means nothing in a game like this. I won't make a prediction -- I want the Giants to win but I think it will be close.

I do predict, however, that Indy will be regarded as one of the top 2 or 3 hosts ever to host a Super Bowl, however. The city has nailed every facet of the event so far and LOL at those who doubted it. The jealousy and whining from Chicago is perhaps the most comical aspect I've seen.

I'm hoping for the Pats but anything can happen. A last second FG to a blow-out by either team. Both teams are quite different from Nov when they last played.

NYG is the hot pick but the NE Off and Def lines are playing great. Like most games, whoever makes the least amount of mistakes will win.

I think playing indoors where it'll be hot. The Defenses on both teams will wear down leading to a high scoring game.

Giants have more overall talent but with one weakness, the O line is suspect, if Wilfork can have another monster game and they can force Eli to make some crappy throws the Pats have a chance. Eli's gotten way better though when under pressure so that may negate the bad O line..

Rooting for Pats but fear Brady will have a bad game. Also don't think either of these teams are 'great' but it's still going to be a great game. This is the big ATOT superbowl thread? Pretty small so far. I guess it will get a million replies as the game goes on.
