Can you elaborate on what your suspicions are? Maybe I am missing something.Paramount Sale Bogged Down After Trump Suit

That's a good question in my opinion. What I see is that if you have pro Palestinian sympathizers on your campus you can use that to cut off funds and make Trump voters happy they are getting revenge on liberals, and if you are pro-Israeli and want to do business that requires government approval he will use that to shake you down. Can you elaborate on what your suspicions are? Redstone seemed to easy to settle with the Trump regime, and I didn't see clearly any indications of her real political orientation. On the other hand, this could all be about being between a rock and a hard place for completing a merger with Paramount. That's a good question in my opinion. No one wants to buy when the FTC is potentially going to launch bs investigations over station licensing that will slow or halt a sale.Redstone want's to settle. She needs the money and no one want's to buy a company with a twenty billion dollar lawsuit hanging over it. That lawsuit is going to pivot on why the interview was edited and if CBS would have done the same thing if it was Trump bumbling his way through a statement.

The media has sanewashed Trump's bumbling for roughly 10 years now.Redstone want's to settle. If it went to trial it would be a HUGE loss for Trump. It's a bullshit lawsuit period.Redstone want's to settle. It's a wonderful system and @Greenman is glad to be alive for it.Having to PERSONALLY bribe the president so that he doesn't stop your deal seems bad. And that is what we are talking about here, a clear bribe.
It's all a mater of perspective. No one wants to buy when the FTC is potentially going to launch bs investigations over station licensing that will slow or halt a sale.
The lawsuit is a naked shakedown of corruption by the president.
On an unrelated note, it's funny how you uncritically always bend towards the conservative position. No critical thinking.
That's a weird way to tell us you enjoy shoving your head up your ass. It's all a mater of perspective.

"Thank you, Fat Tony. However, in the future I would prefer a nondescript briefcase to the sack with a dollar sign on it."
There is no apostrophe in "wants", Mater. It's all a mater of perspective.
Foot in mouth and head up assIt's all a mater of perspective.
Selling out 60 Minutes was unforgiveable. Caving to Trump on it a sin. Is there any mainstream media with guts now? Where/what are the bastions of resistance going forward?Self interest are the only real politics the Redsones ever had. Her dad was nominally a Democrat but flipped when it suited him. Shari is, in many ways, like her father. They all suck real hard and are willing to do absolutely anything to come out on top.
If the suit goes to trial (which it won’t) the more likely outcome is Trump paying CBS after being sanctioned. It’s a laughably frivolous lawsuit that has no chance of success. They can edit their programming in any way they want as per the first amendment.Redstone want's to settle. Hasn't the lawsuit been filed in the North Texas district that is basically run by a single insane judge who just rules for whatever conservatives want to try and preempt the outcome that should be obvious? If the suit goes to trial (which it won’t) the more likely outcome is Trump paying CBS after being sanctioned. That being said the issue here is more the utterly clear bribery. If memory serves you were very concerned about Biden’s corruption despite no evidence. Now you have Trump’s counterparties believing they are bribing him. I can only imagine how angry this must make you!
Probably but in the end it would be overturned anyway.Hasn't the lawsuit been filed in the North Texas district that is basically run by a single insane judge who just rules for whatever conservatives want to try and preempt the outcome that should be obvious?
Isn’t having the right to sue someone who runs a red light and knocks you to the ground the same as someone hurting your feelings? I mean those weren’t just some Joe Blow nobody’s feelings, they were the feelings of the world’s most fragile ego. Think of the enormity of the pain.Probably but in the end it would be overturned anyway.
This lawsuit isn’t just questionable, it is laugh out loud stupid. No joke the basis for his claim is the Harris interview made him sad.
