SVCHOST.exe being a pain!

Hey gues, I'm on my laptop running Win2K. Shortly after startup, after I get up and surfing and such I get a popup saying: Program Error. SVCHOST.exe has generated errors and will be clsoed by Windows.

From that point on I can no longer copy/paste, pop up windows and a bunch of other stuff. It's really being a pain, but I have no idea why it's doing this. Nor can I recreate it to isolate the problem. Any ideas?

U too? The service mustve been disabled. I tried to fix this but it got worst. Now I tried to reinstall XP but theres a missing file of IE6...

hey I got the same problem too...I reformatted my c drive (I have 2 partitions...c is for win2k and d is another partition for everything else) and I still got that error...my virus scanner detected that msblast.exe virus and killed it (I think...I'm running the removal tool right now to make srue) and everytime I go to windows update...ie crashes...
