Switching Cathodes with One Inverter

Ok, I have 4 CCFL tubes, 2 blue 2 UV and one dual inverter. I want to wire up a switch that would allow me to chage from one color tubes to the other using this single inverter. Thinking about it I would probably need two switches though, but then could have one of each color on.

However I know that the inverter is putting alot of voltage but not much amperage, what would be the right rating for a switch like this and which kind of wiring, I know it looks like a really small gauge that they use but I'm not going to cut it open to look for any shielding.

I've already gotten blue smoke out of two inverters and I don't wanna buy another one

Use an inverter for each lamp and switch the primary (12VDC). Never switch the secondaries! You can do this, but the necessary hardware will cost more than using discrete inverters.

Ok, I was afraid of that. But I'm sure $10 for a new lamp kit to get a second inverter would be less costly. Thanks!
