Switching from one connection to two.

We're moving next week and we'll be going from one cable connection to dual satellite connections. We have a lot of computers, and since I can't stick two net connections into a single router, we need to buy a second networking device to move some over to the other connection.

Trouble with this, is that I would like to keep all of these machines able to share files between eachother, game within the network since satellite sucks for gaming, etc. Can anyone provide some advice on how this might be done? I currently have a BEFSR81 8-port router, and if anything needs to be bought...it needs to ship out today.

Hmmm...those are pretty awesome and all, and Newegg has a few for sale ('cept the Xincom is out of stock), but they still only go up to 4 LAN ports...we have 8 computers, so I'd end up needing two routers anyway ><

Unless another router can be plugged into one of those WAN ports? Sorry...I'm pretty tight on time this morning, and my networking knowledge is a bit rudimentary when it comes to anything beyond port triggering.

No need for two routers just get a switch to add more ports.

You could set up two routers each going to one WAN connection, then have those feed into one switch that your computers are connected to. Set half of your computers with Router 1 as the gateway and the other half as Router 2 as the gateway. Keep your IP address and subnet class the same (ie 192.168.1.x and 255.255.255.0) for all computers. That should work.
