Symptoms

Hi,
Recently, on my main computer I have begun having some trouble. I havent changed anything anytime recently that I can think of that is causing this:

In the middle of using my computer or even if its just idle. The mouse and keyboard "lockup" that is no longer respond to any input. Mouse doesnt move, pressing keys doesnt do anything..

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Im running Win XP Pro.

I've seen this happen in Win XP before... try disabling the whole file restore option, turn off services you're not using, etc. Basically tweak XP for performance. tweakxp.com has some how-to's and forums that might be useful.

Then again, I could be wrong and there could actually be something wrong with your kb/mouse. But I'll bet it's XP.

Thanks, Ill check the site, but I doubt its WinXP. I only say this because it has/had been working for quite some time with no problem.
