I was wondering if anyone has stumbled on a way to synchronize the music output from multiple computers on the same network so that they are all playing the same song at the same time. I'm hoping to do so that our dormroom parties don't have to rely on just some guy's speakers next door.
I have tried using a shoutcast broadcast with server version 1.7.x but it doesn't sync up correctly, with the client computer lagging behind a few seconds. Any suggestions? Mayve even write a program that does it perfectly?
