Hello,
I just reloaded a tablet pc for a friend and it is now having a wierd problem. First, I am an IT person, so this is not an experiment. Anyway, I reloaded this Toshiba Portege 3505 with the recovery disks, which load their ghost image. I then removed some of the junk that comes with toshiba. I then loaded SP2 and updated security settings.
Now, my friend says that when he tries to switch to tablet mode, it does not switch. He says that the tablet mode does not start when he flips the screen around.
I do not have alot of experience with Tablets, but I have reloaded this one atleast 2x before without a problem. Any ideas what could be going on? Is it the OS or a sw program that changes the screen and detects the change? I need some help ASAP because this guy is bugging me to death about it.
Any help appreciated!!
