Looks to be the final round of Hopkins career. Great way to end his great career with a 12 round unanimous victory.

If he just defeated a very strong competitor at the top of his class who was even expected to win, why would he end his career now?

Hopkins apparently promised to his mom that he would have stopped fighting by 40. He's 41 currently and his mom passed away a while ago. During his pre and post bout interviews, he has said this is his final fight, but who knows.
TextAfter the fight, he was asked if this was truly his final fight, for which he made a minimum of $5 million. He left a slight opening. What if someone offered him $20 million to fight again, he was asked.
"Well, I might come out of my grave for that kind of money," Hopkins said.
