Why do people buy BMW,s and Rolls Royce becaues they have made it in life to where they can get the best that their money can buy.You buy what you can afford and that is what makes america what it is a place where you have a choice.When I turn on my computer I can say I got the bast (maybe not the fastest) because I worked hard for it and I don't haft to overclock my system to a speed of the wanna bee group.You don't buy a corvette and call it a Trans-am even through they both will do a 100 mph,but you have a car people would love to have but can't afford.

PC Data is reporting that desktop computer retail sales dropped some 24% in December, 2000.

T-bird is the best balanceof power, money and ease of setup. It may be a little diffrent from your p3 but not enough to make a huge difference. Just get a good motherboard and a good socket A cooler and you're set.

you think so? I dunno... I see it as having the porshe guts inside a trans-am body with a yugo price tag.. Smart shopping. If Rolls Royce came out with a different car every year that was twice as fabulous as the last over many years, I think regardless of being able to afford it, there comes a point where paying top dollar for a name becomes a bore and awakening to the fact there's another product around that can do the same jobs cheaper with no ill consequences.. it just makes good sense.

I don't go around with badges on my car and t-shirts that say "whoo, look at me, I've got the fastest system available".. I just want my programs to load and run as fast as possible.. Currently, my AMD system is doing that... and I have money left over to put gas in my Rolls Royce
