The ideas are:
1. theman's design - thanks! you are the first one to propose something!
2. FMC's idea of the stats on the back.
3. wait until AnandTech makes some merchandise ...

Any more options, designs or ideas?

lol ,that's not what I meant ,you said (or maybe just implied) that Anandtech would want money for us to use the AT logo ,that's why I said that ,they'd = they would btw.

We tried, very hard, a few years back to put together a Anandtech/Team AnandTech branded merchandise store. I was young and very inexperienced with it all and TripleShot gave up after a long, tedious, and unproductive battle trying to get Anand et. al. on board. At that point I took over the effort but was unable to get a business plan together and it all fell by the way side. It was a frustrating experiance to say the least. We also ran in to a whole bunch of legals that had to get worked out it was major teh suck!

I still have a few of the originals that we test printed up and used to wear my "AnandTech Forum Member" shirt religiously. I might *MIGHT* still have some of the original artwork laying around, but I'm headed back to school away from the internet / my files at home tomorrow so I won't be able to dig them up until I get back in town and by then I'll probably forget.

They want to eventually make money off merchandise, that could be why they're not letting us use the name/image. They just want to keep their intellectual property their own.

I'm saying that to hell with that. We're not for profit. We aren't mass-marketing these for the whole forum. We just want to print up few shirts for our friends. Gather up exactly how much it would cost to make them, print them up, wear them, & that's that.

I'd be in for the T-shirts but sad that we are not able to use the name. very dissapointed!

It really sucks because the AnandTech folks are preventing us from having our own shirts with an AT logo representing ATDC, and I'm 99% sure that if they ever do offer merch online, a DC-themed shirt won't be in the list of items. I'd love to be shocked, of course.
