How come nobody has mentioned this app?

I can remote into any of my home PC's from any other PC. Remote into any PC from any of my Android devices and remote into my Android phone from my PC!

How cool is that!

Yes it is Whenever a friend calls me with a PC issue I just tell them to fire up Teamviewer and I do the rest :awe:

I'm thinking I could get my wife and MIL to install the teamviewer quicksupport app and I can do the same with their phones.

Yeah, I love teamviewer. It's installed on all of my family's computers. Much easier for me this way, since I live 5+ hours away from all of them.

Is this better than Logmein? I been using Logmein for a long time. I don't know if they have a mobile version for my WP8 but I do have it on my iPad.

Yes, but it is a lot easier then messing with router firewall port setting.
Just send user the link to download the program and you set to go.

Is this better than Logmein? I been using Logmein for a long time. I don't know if they have a mobile version for my WP8 but I do have it on my iPad.

The thing that made it better for me was being able to log into my phone (and others) from my PC as well as the other way round.

I don't really have a problem running extra apps on my PC, especially if it makes things easier.

How is it any different than having another app on your phone? Better a dedicated app that does the job right.

I use teamviewer when im in a pinch (client pc has no remote software enabled)

but I try to stick with RDP because its soooo much better.

however, I didn't know teamviewer did vnc from computer to phone... that is really cool.

Confirming Teamviewer is excellent

I had stability problems with Logmein, all of which disappeared under Teamviewer not to mention I like the way the application looks and behaves.

I mention Teamviewer in every thread on app recommendations. Use it every day.

No doubt its great, Installed on my and all my cousins' laptops, whenever they need any help they just call me up and I am present with them virtually. I wasn't aware that it was available for smartphones too.

The smartphone interface is genuinely amazing too - has access to everything you could need and scrolls really well

Works much better on a bigger screen obviously (my transformer is epic for this) but even on my old P1000 Samsung tablet it was excellent

Love teamviewer, logmein is awesome too till they recently limit you to 10 computers on an account without paying.. also in a pinch join.me which also logmein.

I mostly use Logmein for unattended remote access. Meaning the person whose computer I'm going into doesn't have to be there. For attended remote access, the easiest one I've found is to tell them to use Join.Me. Web site is "http://join.me/" and it's almost idiot proof.

Regarding Teamviewer, you can use it on Samsung tablets and phones to log on and remotely control the tablet or phone.

It's a separate app, TeamViewer QuickSupport.
