Teamviewer Quicksupport - impressions?

Has anyone tried Teamviewer Quicksupport? Apparently Samsung worked out some deal with Teamviewer to allow them this level of access. I hope this catches on with other manufacturers sooner rather than later. This would force Apple to allow similar functionality as businesses would start dismissing them if every other option allowed full remote control for their support/helpdesk personnel.

I just tried it on my Galaxy S2 and it works very well. This should make Samsung the only Android phone for business imo.

Looks amazing. Too bad most companies are still using blackberries.

I don't think this is the case anymore. You can get corporate email on android, iphone and windows phone devices very easy.

Not compatible with my galaxy nexus . Probably because I put jellybean on it. Oh well

Wow, I was using logmein rescue a year or 2 ago and never knew it had mobile device support.

We're migrating off BB now, along with every other company I know.

No doubt, but it's a very slow transition. The Curve is still the cheapest option for a corporate phone until Apple comes up with a $0/$350 device.

Sweet i hope this catches on all devices, most are users are moving away from BB to Android devices.

We're migrating off BB now, along with every other company I know.

one of my companys clients is looking to do the same. he is checking out the motorola electrify 2 and the galaxy s3. his only concern is that android phones get changed so fast and he wants to be able to stick with a supported model for 18 - 24 months at a stretch

From what I gather Samsung and Teamviewer are the only one that offers this as of now. The remote support software that I use, ScreenConnect, posted a blog not to long ago (http://blogs.screenconnect.com/post/2012/06/Remote-Support-of-Mobile-Devices.aspx) saying that the manufacturer have it on lock down- but I guess Samsung opened up to Teamviewer. I think I read somewhere Apple is developing their own remote tool for iPhones, that shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone. The reverse, of supporting a computer from a phone/tablet is more common (in this thread I think that is waht LogMeIn is actually doing- not the other way around- but correct me if I am wrong).
