I downloaded it again today and it seemed like there were more out at the same time, but I don't have any empiracal evidence to back this up.

Tip: Because it takes longer to aim for the ones in the back, wait for tubbies to come out with the sniper rifle. If you see them come up closer, switch to either 1 or 2, in whichever order they appear.
